The Government through the Ministry of Education has initiated the use of strategic planning approach in addressing organizational growth and performance. Public institutions such as secondary schools in Kenya have not been left out on the need to embrace the concept of strategic planning. Through strategic planning, the institution leaders are able to determine what it intends to be in future and how it will get there. This means that they develop a vision for the organizations future and determine the necessary priorities, procedures, and operations to achieve that vision.
Through this strategic plan, Mwiruti Secondary school has laid down a blue print of the development programme and academic performance for our school for the next 5years.
This strategic plan looks beyond the domain of our school. Through it, academic performance will be revitalized and directed, infrastructural development will be achieved, there will be a renewed impetus in moral growth and our cultural values will be impacted to our students. On broader terms, it is expected to play a key role in steering the country towards realization of EFA goals and achieving vision 2030.
We at Mwiruti secondary school are confident that the implementation of this plan will lead to the realization of our vision and fulfillment of our mission. In it, we see our future as a school.
